Studio Openings for the Artisan's Trail Weekend on the 28th and 29th March 09 as well as the 29th and 30th of AUGUST 09. As a follow on from this I have opted to have Open Studio on the fourth SUNDAY of each month, except December, so do come and visit me on one of those times. Other times by appointment. The paintings can be sold framed or unframed and there is a fee for postage and handling. Overseas purchasers please contact me by e-mail regarding cost of postage and insuranceespecially if Airmail is required. Gift vouchers are available for $50, $100 and $200 so the special person in your life can choose a work to their own taste. All artwork on this site is protected by copyright law, however you are welcome to download images to set as wallpaper. Simply choose an image, right mouse click and set as background. ART CLASSES Yvonne now enjoys teaching others in the use of Acrylics and experimental watercolours at her Studio. Please email Yvonne for details. Acrylics on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm (eight week term) and watercolour workshops on the fourth Saturday of the month from 10am to 4pm. EXHIBITS Each year she exhibits in the Royal Easter Show and major Agricultural Shows. She exhibits in shows throughout the Greater Sydney Region and many Country Art awards. She has recently travelled to Italy and her work from that trip will soon be displayed here. Yvonne's formal training began in the mid 80's taking tuition in tonal oil painting with well known artist Judy Brownlie. She has mastered techniques in Pastel, Acrylics, Mixed Media and Watercolour with help from various tutors such as Margaret Wills, Robert Wade, and Patrick Carroll. Yvonne has been acclaimed for her Mixed Media and Abstract works. Yvonne has been the recipient of many awards for her artwork and she is represented in public and private collections in Australia, Great Britain and the USA. Yvonne has held official positions in the Macquarie Towns Art Society and on the Executive of the Combined Art Societies of Sydney (CASS).
